Integrity and Service Since 1983
Over 40 years of NIST-traceable calibration heritage, with dependable service earning the trust of the most demanding quality programs in the country. Incorporated in Arizona on January 2, 1991.
Field Calibrations, Inc. is an ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited calibration laboratory providing high-precision instrument calibration services with measurements traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

An advanced Phoenix metrology lab
Our controlled-environment laboratory in the Westmount Tech Center handles the full range of accredited calibration, backed by reference standards traceable to NIST.
Located in Ahwatukee — one block west of I-10 at the Elliot Road exit — FCI serves customers on-site across the region and ships certificates nationwide. Whether equipment comes to us or our technicians come to you, every measurement is performed with stated uncertainty, reported at a 95% confidence level (k=2).
Accreditation, traceability, accountability
ISO/IEC 17025:2017
Accredited by the International Accreditation Service (IAS) under CL-112 — the global standard for calibration competence.
NIST Traceability
Every certificate is traceable to NIST, with calibration and measurement capability (CMC) values stated at a 95% confidence level (k=2).
Audit-Ready Records
Documentation structured to support DCMA/DCAA, AS9100, ISO 13485, and GMP supplier requirements.

The operator's code
Culture at Field Calibrations is written on the wall of the room where the work is planned — a board room shared by the accredited laboratory, the operations team, and leadership. The rules are short, and they set expectations for every measurement, every certificate, and every customer commitment.
- No issues. Just solutions.
A calibration lab lives on measurement discipline and problem-solving. When something goes sideways, we don't build a case. We build a fix.
- One team. One fight.
Every technician, coordinator, and customer-service voice owns the same accreditation and the same customer promise. Nobody carries this alone; nobody hides behind their function.
- Just do it. Right.
Speed and shortcuts are not the same thing. Rush turnaround is a scheduling promise; the measurement itself gets the same care every time. If it isn't right, it isn't done.
Arizona and Alaska state flags share the wall with the IAS Certificate of Accreditation — a small reminder that FCI is an Alaska Native Corporation subsidiary operating out of Phoenix, and that our accreditation and our ownership answer to the same standard: do it right, or don't claim it.
Calibration technician in progress
Our observation window says what our procedures require: while a calibration is in progress, the technician is the sole owner of that measurement. No interruptions, no distractions, no shortcuts. It is the visible face of our ISO/IEC 17025 quality system — the same discipline that keeps every certificate defensible under audit.
- Every calibration is performed against a documented procedure with stated measurement uncertainty at 95% confidence (k=2).
- Reference standards are laid out and verified before work begins — the bench is single-purpose while the light is on.
- Every observation is captured in the certificate audit trail before the instrument leaves the bench.

A Native American–owned business
In 2016, Field Calibrations, Inc. was acquired by Emmonak Corporation, an Alaska Native Corporation, expanding our capability to serve federal and Native-owned business set-aside contracts.
Field Calibrations is wholly owned — through a holding company — by Emmonak Corporation, an Alaska Native Corporation. This ownership ties FCI to a mission of economic self-determination for Native shareholders and provides government buyers a Buy Indian Act–listed, set-aside-eligible supplier.
As an ANC-owned small business pursuing SBA 8(a) certification, FCI brings the agility of a small business and the backing of an established ANC parent.
