Thermal / Environmental Calibration
−250 °C to 1820 °C plus relative humidity, against Fluke & Hart standards
Thermal / Environmental metrology at FCI
Temperature and humidity directly affect product quality in pharmaceutical, semiconductor, aerospace, and food applications. FCI calibrates thermocouples, RTDs, digital thermometers, infrared thermometers, and humidity probes against the Fluke 7526A, Hart 1502A with 5628 reference probe, and Thunder Scientific / Vaisala humidity standards.
Simulated thermocouple calibration (Types B, E, J, K, N, R, S, T, U) spans −250 °C to 1820 °C with CMCs of 0.08–0.73 °C, and simulated RTD calibration (Pt 385, Pt 3926, Pt 3916, Ni 120) spans −200 °C to 800 °C with CMCs of 0.014–0.05 °C, both using the Fluke 7526A. Generated-and-measured temperature spans −197 °C to 660 °C with CMCs of 0.019–0.05 °C using a Hart 1502A and 5628 comparison.
Infrared temperature is calibrated 35–250 °C (1.5 °C / 1.5%) with a Fluke 62 MAX+. Relative humidity is generated from 10–95 %RH (0.51 %RH) using a Thunder Scientific 1200 and measured 0–97 %RH (1.2–2.0 %RH) with a Vaisala HM70. Chamber and oven mapping studies document spatial uniformity for GMP and FDA-regulated storage.
All thermal certificates report as-found and as-left data with full NIST traceability. On-site service is available for fixed chambers, walk-in freezers, and process equipment that cannot be transported.

Traceability: NIST → IAS → FCI → Your Asset
Temperature and humidity standards are traceable to NIST through the Fluke 7526A, Hart 1502A reference, and Thunder Scientific / Vaisala humidity standards. Uncertainties are reported at a 95% confidence level (k=2) on each ISO/IEC 17025:2017 certificate.
Thermal / Environmental calibration questions
What temperature and humidity instruments do you calibrate?
Thermocouples (types B, E, J, K, N, R, S, T and U), RTDs, digital thermometers and data loggers, infrared thermometers, and humidity probes and hygrometers.
What temperature range is accredited?
Simulated thermocouple temperature from -250 to 1820 °C, simulated RTD from -200 to 800 °C, comparison temperature from -197 to 660 °C on a Hart 1502A with a 5628 reference probe, and infrared from 35 to 250 °C.
Do you calibrate humidity?
Yes. We generate 10 to 95 %RH on a Thunder Scientific 1200 with 0.51 %RH uncertainty, and measure 0 to 97 %RH with a Vaisala HM70.
Do you support chamber mapping and AMS 2750?
Yes. Applications include cold-chain and freezer validation, chamber and oven uniformity mapping, furnace and autoclave qualification, and AMS 2750 pyrometry support. We calibrate in our accredited Phoenix lab in Ahwatukee and on site at your facility. On-site calibration runs Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, by appointment.
