Calibration for aerospace & defense
Arizona's aerospace and defense base — Honeywell, Raytheon, Boeing Mesa, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, and the supplier network feeding Luke Air Force Base — demands tight tolerances, full NIST traceability, and audit-ready documentation. FCI delivers dimensional, mechanical, thermal, electrical, RF, and pressure calibration aligned to AS9100 supplier-quality expectations and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994 calibration-system requirements.
As an IAS-accredited (CL-112), ANC-owned lab with government-contracting credentials, FCI is uniquely positioned to serve both the prime contractors and the small-business suppliers in their flow-down. Our certificates carry as-found and as-left data on every instrument, supporting first-article and production conformance.

Aerospace & Defense calibration questions
How do you support AS9100 suppliers?
AS9100 adds stricter calibration and traceability expectations to ISO 9001. Our ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994 aligned certificates support those requirements and DCMA source inspection.
Can you calibrate RF and frequency equipment for defense programs?
Yes. RF power and frequency are accredited to 26.5 GHz, along with dimensional, electrical, thermal, mechanical and pressure work in the same lab.
Do you handle ITAR equipment?
ITAR-aware handling is available on request. Tell us when you request a quote.
Do you calibrate on site?
We calibrate in our accredited Phoenix lab in Ahwatukee and on site at your facility. On-site calibration runs Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, by appointment. Returning customers get a written quote within one business day. New customers and new equipment go through ISO/IEC 17025 contract review in three to five business days.
