Calibration for automotive & ev
Arizona's automotive future is electric, and EV and battery manufacturers — Lucid Motors and KORE Power among them — operate under demanding quality systems and high production volumes. FCI keeps torque, dimensional, electrical, and thermal instrumentation traceable and audit-ready to support PPAP and continuous production.
Battery and EV assembly is especially torque- and thermal-sensitive: fastening-tool calibration protects module integrity, and thermal mapping validates battery-conditioning processes. FCI's on-site service keeps these instruments certified without pulling them off the line.

Automotive & EV calibration questions
Do you support IATF 16949 and PPAP?
Yes. IATF 16949 emphasizes measurement-system control and MSA. Our accredited calibrations and uncertainty data support it, along with PPAP packages.
What do you calibrate for EV and battery lines?
Hand torque tools to ISO 6789-1, battery and EV thermal mapping, and the dimensional and electrical equipment used on the line.
Can you calibrate on site to reduce downtime?
Yes. We calibrate in our accredited Phoenix lab in Ahwatukee and on site at your facility. On-site calibration runs Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, by appointment.
How fast is a quote?
